Let the writings of St. Francis of Assisi help you to meditate on the Way of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

You can continue right where you left off if you get interrupted because this app would save the last station you meditate.

For your reading convenience you can adjust the font size.

Tap an image to enter full screen, pinch to zoom and tap it again or swipe it to dismiss.

Change the language of the content between English, Italian, French, and Portuguese right from within the app or from Settings app.

If you prefer to, you can hide or show the prayers (Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be) displayed at the end of each mystery.

Please pray for holy souls in Purgatory and also for me as I continue to develop Catholic apps.

Pros and cons of Via Crucis: Catholic Meditations on the Way of the Cross by St. Francis of Assisi app for iPhone and iPad

Via Crucis: Catholic Meditations on the Way of the Cross by St. Francis of Assisi app good for

An excellent app: prayerful and meditative. You truly feel connected to our Lords suffering. Praying slowly, while focusing on the image helps the mind stay on task. A wonderful resource to help your Lenten journey.
I am using this app during Lent. I really like the paintings; they help me in the devotion.
Integrating beautiful artwork with sacred texts and prayers make this act effective for use in a church or in quiet reflection on the Passion of our Lord.
Beautiful App. Good job. It invites a good meditation on our Lords Passion and sufferings for our salvation. Thanks a lot!!!

Some bad moments

This meditation is so powerful and beautiful! Thank you for assisting me in my journey to love Christ more profoundly.
This app is well done, easy to use and very helpful to help orient your day in the office, with the fam, or helping friends . Carrying the Cross is never easy but as this app so beautifully illustrates we never carry our crosses alone.
Thank you from this Episcopalian. Another member of my family is also purchasing this as well. You are in my prayers. The App Store is in many ways a giant playground. I have a lot of useful apps, apps that are fun, and apps that are beautiful, but there are relatively few apps that offer spiritual sustenance.
This is a great app. I like the pictures, which are of the more traditional type. It helps me to meditate better by looking at those pictures. I would like it even more if in the Lords Prayer the words "and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us" be used instead of "forgive our debts....". That is not what Catholics say. Thank you for updating the app. Now the Lords Prayer is correctly written for Catholics.
Great app- Highly recommended. Very solid, follows the traditional Stations of the Cross. Developer is quick to respond to queries. Has portrait and landscape settings each with a different religious image for each station. Can restart from previous stopping point if stations are interrupted. Includes adoration, meditation, and prayers.
Awesome way of the cross.Great pictures and wonderful prayers. Love the meditations. Thank you Valent Richie
